GENERAL LEDGER WITH BUDGETING

Fund Accounting General Ledger is a financial reporting system for non-profits of all types. It uses code tables, list boxes and stored report formats to enhance office productivity, improve the efficiency of your operations and save you many hours of work. Many published reviews have commented on our quality documentation; powerful, flexible reporting and ease-of-use!

During transaction entry, for example, you may add new accounts or refer to list boxes for journals, funds, accounts, etc. Transaction amounts may be automatically distributed to up to 36 different general ledger accounts. Account descriptions are displayed when account numbers are entered. You can enter a 50-character transaction description with only three keystrokes or select one from a list box. If desired, journals, ledgers and most financial statements can be reviewed on the screen.

General Ledger includes a very powerful report writer capability. Extensive financial statement formatting is available by menu selection, including comparisons to current period, year-to-date and annual budgets. Financial statement format options include: user-defined, columnar and functional classification. Some financial statements may be printed for prior months or a prior year.

Consolidated financial statements may be produced for any range of funds. Departments, divisions or multiple locations may be consolidated by wildcard selection of funds or by user-defined fund groups. Our many pre-programmed financial statement consolidation options eliminate the need for "excess" digits in your chart of accounts.

Financial statements comply with FASB 116 and 117. Funds are automatically segregated into unrestricted, temporarily restricted and permanently restricted classes. You can automatically produce statements of activities with expenses categorized by functional classification.

General Ledger supports OLE automation. All financial statements can be saved automatically to Word for editing or printing. General Ledger data can be transferred directly to Excel without writing to disk.

General Ledger is easy to set up and the documentation is thorough and user-oriented. Data entry and processing are extremely fast with a complete audit trail for all transactions. Audit adjustments may be made easily at any time during your fiscal year. These features substantially reduce the time required for bookkeeping and auditing in most organizations. You may save far more than the cost of General Ledger in the first year of use!
